Women's Cross Country Finishes Second at Notre Dame Invitational

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The NC State women's cross country team finished second after an impressive race at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational on Friday afternoon. The men's team finished in 11th place amongst a deep field. 
 


Team Results:
No. 1 Providence took the top spot in the women's 5k race, scoring 117 points. The Wolfpack finished second with 149 points, just ahead of Eastern Michigan who scored 166 points and No. 2 New Mexico with 169 points. Erika Kemp led the Wolpfack once again, running a personal best time of 16:35.0 to better her time from the adidas XC Challenge, 17:02.4. Rachel Koon (27th), Megan Moye (31st),Alyssa Rudawsky (39th), Elly Henes (44th) represented the rest of the NC State's scorers.
